Founded by Laverne Wilson-Valis (She/Her), Elder Friends Concierge Services™ (Elder Friends) offers a safe and trustworthy senior concierge service for elderly individuals who wish to maintain their independence for as long as possible. Elder Friends Concierge Services™ provides elder home care in New York City to support those who want to age in place.

After witnessing her loved ones being placed in elder communities to address family concerns, Laverne sought a better way to assist those in need. Her experience as an elderly care service provider also helped her recognize the signs of early dementia in her sister. This personal journey inspired her to establish a professional, reliable, and efficient home care assistance firm that offers tailored support.

Additionally, Elder Friends provides specialized training for caregivers assisting individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and dementia, enhancing the lives of older adults in New York City through our home care services. Laverne is trained in the following areas: Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Senior Advisor, SAGE trained, LGBTQ, and NYS Notary Public.

A client-centered approach unites our team of experienced aging care associates. Laverne holds a Master of Science degree from St. John's University and is an NYS General Topics Instructor and a certified Senior Home Safety Specialist compliant with CHAP Home Care standards.
