Founded by Laverne Wilson-Valis (She/Her), Elder Friends Concierge Services ™ (Elder Friends) was born to provide a safe, trustworthy senior concierge service geared towards elderly individuals looking to maintain their independence for as long as possible. Elder Friends Concierge Services ™ provides Elder Home Care in NYC to support those wishing to age in place. Upon observing her loved ones placed in elder communities to appease their loved ones, Laverne saw a better way to assist those in need. Additionally, being an elderly care service provider allowed Laverne the opportunity to readily identify signs being exhibited by her sister, who was diagnosed with early dementia. This personal journey led her to create a professional, reliable, and efficient home care assistance firm brimming with tailored support. Additional training for those experiencing symptoms s of Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care enables us to enhance the lives of all older adults in New York City by delivering Home Care Assistance. With a team of experienced aging care associates, all united by a client - centered approach. Laverne received her Master of Science at St. John's University. She is a NYS General Topics Instructor, certified Senior Home Safety Specialist and a CHAP Home Care -Compliance with New Home Care standards.
